Abstract

The general objective of this work is the development of equipment capable of meeting the need for real-time monitoring of material levels inside storage silos, whether in the ceramics, agribusiness, or other sectors. Based on the Industry 4.0 concept, which highlights information and accessibility as the main elements of a developed business, the project aims to send control data to a WEB server through GPRS and/or Wi-Fi communication by measuring distance with a laser technology sensor. Additionally, it allows the client to use other forms of communication, such as reading an analog signal, Modbus-RTU, and radio frequency, ensuring the user can visualize the equipment's readings. The goal is to implement a prototype with a good cost-benefit ratio that meets the need for level monitoring, so that the client has real knowledge of their assets
