The main purpose of this article is to design a collection of ceramic surfaces with nine sensory pieces, with the aim of helping to alert about the possible symptoms of breast cancer, intended for initial application at the Rede Feminina de Içara - SC. This is based on the fact that this type of cancer can be diagnosed early through self-examination, such as touch, subsequently followed by medical exams. To achieve this objective, the GODP method - Project Development Orientation Guide (MERINO, 2016) was used, following an applied and project-based research approach. The central focus of this method is to create a ceramic surface that places the user at the center of the process. This approach is exploratory, with an emphasis on qualitative analysis, eliminating the need to apply statistical methods or techniques. The nine developed surfaces, of which eight represent the symptoms of breast cancer and one represents breast tissue for general knowledge, were validated. The usability, tested by women and men, confirmed the usability of these surfaces, thus demonstrating the successful achievement of the requirements and parameters established in the context of sensory surfaces.
