Abstract

This paper presents the development and implementation of an automated supervision system in an integrated egg farm with its own feed factory, highlighting the importance of automation for increasing production efficiency. Through the automation of the supervision system, a gradual growth in feed production was observed, demonstrating technology’s contribution to process optimization. Previously, the lack of traceability was a challenge, but with the project’s implementation, all processes are now traceable, enhancing food safety and product reliability. The system’s implementation not only ensured safer and more efficient production but also led to a reduction in operational costs. The complete traceability provided by the automated system offers a clear view of the product’s journey, from raw material reception to the final feed, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This study demonstrates that industrial automation, when applied strategically, can positively transform animal nutrition factory operations, resulting in benefits for both the company and the animals.
