It is noteworthy that the adoption of maintenance software for industrial use has been growing in recent times, driven by the demand for a more organized environment where information is readily available. However, this tool must be adaptive to the current scenario of each company, accessible to its users, and the displayed information should be presented in a way that is understandable to everyone, from managers to the technicians performing the maintenance.
The article in question analyzes the effectiveness of using software for industrial maintenance management, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce costs. In a study conducted in the machining sector of UNISATC University Center, located in Criciúma - SC, Brazil, five machines were registered for monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance, using indicators such as MTBF and MTTR. Additionally, the tracking of pending and completed service orders was presented, impacting the adherence report of the team to preventive maintenance.
The results show that the software facilitates the analysis of equipment availability and reliability, improving communication and decision-making, as it displays all maintenance-related data in real-time and permanently, updating immediately as new maintenance is performed. It is concluded that the software contributes to greater productivity, clarity in information related to the integrity and operation of machines and equipment in the sector, and sustainable resource management.
